Using color masterbatch is very simple. Just mix it with resin granules according to the specified ratio and stir manually.
The following points should be noted during equipment operation:
1.1. Injection molding machines or extruders generally have multiple temperature zones in their mixing chambers. The section near the discharge port should be slightly warmer. This is to ensure that the color masterbatch melts quickly upon entering the mixing chamber and mixes evenly with the plastic resin as soon as possible. This promotes good dispersion of the pigment in the finished product.
1.2. Applying appropriate back pressure to the injection molding machine can improve the screw's mixing effect and facilitate pigment dispersion. The side effect of applying back pressure is that it will slow down the injection speed.
1.3. Appropriately increasing the die temperature of the extruder can increase the gloss of the finished product.
