The basis for determining the usage ratio of color masterbatch is to obtain a satisfactory coloring effect. As long as the surface of the product has a uniform color tone without streaks or spots, it is acceptable. The usage ratio of color masterbatch can be selected as follows:
1:100 Unless the equipment has excellent mixing properties, uneven pigment dispersion is likely to occur. This ratio is generally not recommended for customers.
However, some customers, due to price pressure, particularly prefer to use this ratio of color masterbatch. Considering the customer's needs, we also produce more concentrated color masterbatches with this low ratio, and the pigment dispersion generally meets the requirements.
1:50 Used for plastic products with general coloring requirements; this ratio is commonly used for PE and PP color masterbatches.
1:33-1:25 Used for PO products with higher coloring requirements, and ABS products with lower or general coloring requirements.
1:20 Used for high-grade plastic products, including PO and ABS, and can be widely used in injection molding, blow molding, spinning, and other processes.
1:20 and above Generally used for coloring high-grade cosmetic containers, and is more commonly used in small injection molding machines.
